White Gold Diamond Necklace.Q.I've seen this baht gold that thai women wear and I think it looks very ugly. I was shown the ring, necklace and bracelet that my girlfriends sister was given for sin sot and quite frankly it look slike cheap rubbish. I dn't lik ethat it's so soft as it will surely lose it's shape over time. Yesterday I went ring window shopping and I finally found a store whicih I believe I could buy with some confidence. It's called "Tok Kwang" on Silom Road. I will eventually be shopping for a wedding ring for my girlfriend and a wedding band for myself. I favour the simple white gold with diamond design or pehraps without diamond. But I prefer white gold as I'm pale skinned and where a silver colored watch. I will be trying to talk my girlfriend into choosing Yellow gold. This probably won't be difficult as I think all she wants is a nice ring, no necklace, bracelet needed. I don't want to buy my girlfriend any thai gold as I think it looks cheap and ugly. Does anybody know anything about the store I mention above? I looks like it's very established. Also, I'm told that in Thailand diamond jewellery is signficantly less expensive than outside. Is that true? A.it is of course up to you and your taste as to which kind you buy. i like yellow gold and of course it is very soft. i had wedding bands made when we first got married. they were all bent out of shape in just a short time. they are far to soft in a ring. i traded them in for a necklace. i have no problem with my 2 baht necklace. i wear it all the time except when sleeping. i play football (soccer) with it on and never have a problem. it is of course up to you and your taste as to which kind you buy. i like yellow gold and of course it is very soft. i had wedding bands made when we first got married. they were all bent out of shape in just a short time. they are far to soft in a ring. i traded them in for a necklace. i have no problem with my 2 baht necklace. i wear it all the time except when sleeping. i play football (soccer) with it on and never have a problem.
