Spider Man JewelryQ.I'm living in Germany and I've been reading Spiderman comics when I was a bit younger. I think I finally gave up buying Spidey-issues when he got his new alien costume, because I didn't like it. I didn't know that after eight issues he would change back to the old one. Now I bought the book "Saga of the alien costume" and know what happened. Some days ago I saw some original issues of Spiderman and all the other Marvel comics at our local comic shop. I bought some of them . Now I have some questions for the Spidey-fans out there, because some things have changed during my little "Marvel-break". 1/ Could someone please give me some information about the Hobgoblin? I never really understood his relation to Harry Osborne. I also think that Spiderman has killed him really often in earlier issues, but now in the newest "Amazing Spiderman" issue he is back again. 2/ Is there anyone who could give me some information about the various Spiderman series? I think there are four series : "Spiderman", "Spectacular Spiderman", "Amazing Spiderman" and "Web Of Spiderman". What is the difference between them? I think "Amazing Spiderman" is the original one, but what about the four others. A.1/ in "The Name of the Rose" storyline in Web, the demon-possessed Hobby (Macendale) was split in two -- good ol' human mercenary Macendale, and "Demogoblin", who's always ranting about "sinners". Awful character. This split didn't stop Howard Mackie (who wrote TNotR) from having a demon-faced Hobby in a recent adjectiveless Spider-Man ish. What did I miss? As far as I knew, Hobby was just human again, going around making trouble. Harry Osborn is DEAD!He's NOT coming back! Y'hear? Harry taped the message in the latest ASM before he died. Another of the ways he's getting back at Spidey "from beyond the grave" -- like the jewelry box he left him in his will. 2/ There's also "Spider-Man Unlimited", a bi-monthly 64-page mag on glossy "Fanfare"-type paper. It's almost up to #5 now. It's written by Tom DeFalco (the main stories have mostly been pretty bad), with spotty back-up stories. And adjectiveless Spider-Man is, as of the last two issues, now IN the continuity with the rest of the mags.
