Princess Cut Diamond Pendant
Q.I have a few basics that I wear everyday -a pair of my leverback earrings, wide gold wedding band with 1/4 k marquis cut diamond engagement ring, and my Timex gold and silver Indiglo watch (I've bought more expensive and the Timex is the best I've had). I'm not much of a jewelry person, but I have to have these on daily. What are your favorites?
A.I wear my wedding set, which is three rings - the engagement ring, a thin wedding band and another band that has 7 diamonds in it on my left hand. On my right hand I wear an emerald and diamond ring that he bought in France, an Amethyst and diamond ring that I had designed, (with pieces left over from his old fiancee's ring) and a sapphire and diamond ring he bought last year I wear a gold necklace with a little gold heart that the kids bought me for mother's day a few years ago, diamond stud earrings in my 2nd set of holes, my watch, and several bracelets. Depends on my mood as to which ones I wear - some Eric gave me, some the kids gave me and some I bought.... I agree with the person who said "as I get older, less is more." I remember when I used to wear an assortment of sterling silver rings on almost every finger, plus lots of bracelets, and I was never without a necklace. These days, every day I wear my engagement ring (platinum with a large princess cut diamond surrounded by baguettes) and wedding band (platinum with lots of baguettes) ; my Skagen two-tone watch; and three earrings (two in the left, one in the right), which change daily but are usually something small in sterling silver. Lately I've also been wearing the sterling silver ring I bought for luck in Vegas (end of this month!), a horseshoe with white spinnel stones. Some days I wear a necklace, usually the black pearl and diamond "floating" pendant that he bought me two years ago. Sometimes a sterling silver Celtic triangle that he bought me before that. And I occasionally wear crystal bracelets, hematite power beads, a sterling silver cuff from Ralph Lauren, etc. It's kind of a shame. I have two boxes full of jewelry that
