A.If you have a signature or (Hallmark) Stamp that identifies you as the designer than you are meeting the federal laws providing you also include the metal content. As for registering your Hallmark, you might contact one of the national jewelry magazines who offer from time to time a list of all known hallmarks. This is especially helpful when doing jewelry appraisals. National Jeweler Jewelers Circulary Keystone Oh yes, it is not necessary or required that you register your signature stamp..... nice, but not mandatory from all the laws I have read.
