Cheapest place for 3 carat and below diamond?
Q.I am looking for the cheapest 3 carat or below diamond. However there seems too many online dealers and this has made me confused. Can some kind person in this NG recommend me an online dealer that is the cheapest and most reputable? I am also interested in an online dealer that is having a mega sale and clearance now.
A.If you are near SF/SJ, go to a store called jewelry exchange south of San Francisco. They have very low cost diamonds. Jewelry Exchange is a chain, though they try to posture themselves as a local store. They're similar to The Shane company. They have locations nationwide. They go under several different names. "http://www.jewelryexchange.com/locations.asp" Also he should check out Costco, as they have very good prices on jewelery and are reputable. However Costco does not sell low end diamonds, only VS2 or higher. There's always Paul, from the Diamond Center (is he still around?). He sells credit and bad jewelry.
