Q.Any and all of my venetian glass jewelry but especially my black/white oval glass barrette. Why oh why, didn't I get more hair doodads there???? Florence - short black handmade leather jacket that I wore for years until I started accumulating so many other (more flattering on me) leather jackets that it had to go. IIRC I found a new home for w/ a very dear AFer who knows who she is. Also from Venice, a handmade black leather hobo shoulderbag. It's nearly carry on size it's so big and though dangerously large for an everyday bag, it sure comes in handy when travelling.
A.Toronto - Years ago at the Canadian National Exhibition, my folks and I stumbled across all of this gorgeous diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald jewelry set in sterling silver and my Mom and I picked up a few goodies for ourselves. I have a ring w/ diamonds and sapphires similar to Diana's engagement ring but much smaller (natch!) and a necklace w/ a simple diamond/sapphire dangle. Not really a pendant as it's part of the chain, but more of a dangle. Istanbul - Gold puzzle ring - liked it a whole lot more once I figured out how to put it *back* together . San Francisco - A pearl ring and necklace where the pearls were bought from a vendor on the trocadero who had the "Pick an Oyster" tank where you could select a shell w/ a pearl inside of it. And though I wasn't personally there, all the wonderful baubles my folks have brought me back from Brazil that include an emerald pendant, a blue topaz pendant and very cool belt buckles made of a slice of an amethyst geode and a slice of a verigated ivory stone that's either agate or quartz.
