Fashion Jewelry ExporterQ.I'm looking for a supplier of bracelets, pendants, rings, earrings, etc... that I can glue cabochon's to. These are not standard sizes or shapes by any means so it needs to be something that can accommodate irregular shapes & sizes. I've used Rio Grande in the past but their limited selection is wearing thin. Any suggestions? A.I know what you mean about Rio. They don't seem to have the jewelry crafter in mind with their product line. I've done a lot of looking for this sort of thing also, but I haven't found much. I'll be watching this thread for any clues also... As a supplier of supplies just like Rio, that fact that you've identified the items you seek as "irregular" in shape and size, what (with all due respect) makes you think that any manufacturer who supplies companies like Rio and Metalliferous (my store) is interested in tooling up to make dozens of different items that would not have a great deal of sales volume associated with them? And if they did do such a thing and produced in sterling, what leads you to believe that these items would be favorably priced? It is a fact of jewelry life that if you seek to work with interesting and unusual things, you should be rewarded for your creativity and drive. However, that also means that you can't buy off-the-shelf stock items that only require a shot of epoxy and a quick polish to ready them for sale. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it (thus decreasing the value of the items). I agree that it would be nice to have 4.5mm x 15.5mm oval bexel cups pre-attached to 1.5" wide cuff bracelets with rolled edges, but that just ain't gonna happen. If you're looking to buy stock items, make sure your stones are standard sizes. Try unusual groupings of the stones to simulate the odd shapes you seek. (But now maybe you know why that lot of non-standard sized cabs was 65% off.......) Other Questions : China Fashion JewelryI got married last September 21st and have no idea what the "theme" (if you will) of the 1st Anniversary is? Paper? Wood? Plastic? My wife wears a Seikof veryday use and she has one more cheapo costume jewelry watch that she bought because she liked the way it looked.I feel that it would be interesting to make a little survey amongst our wives, daughters, girl-friends, in order to assess what kind of watches women wear, which ones they like, dislike and what would be their ideal watch.
