Are diamonds old-fashioned?
Q.I'm doing some college research on accessories fashion and cultural trends. I'm basing my essay on online shopping sites and popularity with different people. One of my case study sites is a diamond specialist jewellery site. What I would love you to help me with is if you could start a discussion on whether diamond fashion accessories are out-dated/ unpopular now, and what are the influencing factors (eg. wealth, age, gender).... A.When I was sixteen and graduating from high school my mom had a pendant made for me out of my grandmother's earrings. I was by no means a rich kid but grandma, who was deceased, had a few nice pieces of jewelry. For my daughter's eighteenth birthday I got her a gold star pendant with a tiny diamond in the center on a gold chain. It is something I hope she will have as long as I've had my pendant. audrey I think I'm sexy in diamonds! I wear them in my diamond-studded cufflinks when I'm having a glam night out and ladies love them on me!!
