We Want a Floating Necklace (MicroCord)!
Q.Over Thanksgiving weekend I went to Marshall's and bought a fake diamond version of this kind of necklace (no way I could afford the real ones!). It came with a pair of matching earrings. All for $7.99. Looks like the real thing too! I love a bargain, and have gotten maney compliments on the necklace. I'm not sure if there's Marshall's in Canada, but a comparable designer discount store might be worth checking out; unless you really really want the real thing then maybe try one of the high end department stores? A.My husband bought me the double strand diamond solitaire version for my birthday a few months ago. I absolutely love it; I receive several compliments everyday on it. The necklaces come with several choices of stone sizes. I have the largest stone paired with the medium stone -- I believe the other option is the small stone paired with the medium stone. Other available styles are diamond pave crosses and diamond pave "balls." They are all also available in single strand versions. We bought mine at a store in the Dallas Galleria called Ylang-Ylang, though I believe Neiman Marcus also carries them. I got a triple strand version of this necklase, with three tiny cubic zircona. They look totally real, and I'm going to wera the necklace with my wedding gown - it looks great with the v-neck sleeveless top. The best part? I got it as a craft fair for $30.
