Diamond Princess Cut Tennis Bracelet
Q.Would the typical heterosexual man have a problem *not* buying princess-cut diamond rings, platinum earrings, and tennis bracelets? If so, I've definitely taken the wrong tack, here.
A.I did that. Cut the calories way down. So far that my doc was concerned. It didn'thelp. I even upped my exercise level (from nothing to 1 hour 3 times a week). The human body is a funny thing. It tries to protect itself, see. For most people, that is. Everyone's different, but mostly, if you cut your calories way down, your body likely responds by shutting itself down. It goes into survival mode. Depends on how badly you cut your calories, what sort of calories you _are_ consuming (do they provide the nutrition the body needs as well as a way to give the body more energy?), and how much real activity you're undertaking. Cut them down too much, and you end up getting fatigued. Your heart rate slows. Your breathing slows. You don't move around as much, and you're not motivated to move very much. If you were to write down everything you did, and track your heart rate throughout the day on a day when you ate, say, 1500 calories (short, light, middle-aged female), and when you ate, say, 1000 calories, you'd probably find that you are doing far less, moving far less, and have a much slower heart rate. The body is protecting itself.
