Q.Do you go up to the clerk at MacDonald's and ask if they are affiliated with the Unification Church? Could it be that Christian Bernard Jewelry Store is owned and operated by a member of the UC, not the UC? Why should they get into a religious discussion with you? It is good sense not to discuss religion in a place of business.
A.Are you saying that the stores are owned by members of the movement andnot Christian Bernard Stores Corp. in New Jersey? Do you know this to be fact or are you just speculating like so many other church members do here? Whether or not it is good sense to get into a discussion about religion with me in a Christian Bernard store is not the point. The point is the person I asked a rather straight forward question lied to me. He said it was not affiliated in any way with the Unification Church and that he had met Christian Bernard the owner. I don't know if you know this but there is no such person as Christian Bernard the owner of Christian Bernard Jewelry Stores.
