Selling jewelry
Q.I have accumulated A LOT of jewelry over the years - I am trying to sell some items (some gold, silver pieces). I haven't really had a lot of luck with ebay since I don't have scanned photos of the jewelry (most are just simple gold chains, bracelets). I just need to CLEAN out a lot of items - any suggestions on where to sell some of this?
A.This is a timely topic for me as I've been making jewelry lately. I have a box of beautiful things that I plan to soon list on ebay. I made 10 red suede choker necklaces each with an 18 mm Swarovski crystal aurora borealis heart pendant. I kept one for myself, and gave one to a friend. So, I have 8 to sell. I also made the most gorgeous 40 mm Clear Swarovski crystal heart necklace strung with 4mm Swarovski crystal Aurora Borealis diamond shaped beads. It's sure a stunner! It looks like real diamonds. I want to keep it myself, but can't as I have already kept about 10 different necklaces for myself. It's just hard to capture the beauty of Swarovski crystal with a camera. I even went to the Swarovski site, and it seems that they cannot capture the beauty of their pieces in pictures either. Oh well, I'll still try. I've also made necklaces with 35 mm rose quartz hearts and 35 mm fluorite hearts. I just love making jewelry. It is an expensive hobby if I don't start selling something soon though. I've just signed up today to begin selling my jewelry on ebay. My ebay handle is: marilyn55. I've only listed the red suede Swarovski crystal heart chokers so far. But keep watch as I'm expecting an order of more jewelry supplies any day and will be listing more things soon
