Seaquest Black Diamond, Zeagle Ranger?Q.Am thinking of getting a Seaquest Black Diamond. Anyone have any experience with this BC or comparisons with the Zeagle Ranger or ScubaPro Superhawk? A.Don't be fooled by BCs that "look" cool. Go with one that really is cool: the Zeagle Ranger. I've been diving with one for 4 years, have never wanted anything else. It's an excellent BC. I agree...don't be fooled by BC's that look cool. Dive with a BC that feels good and fits well. I dive with a Seaquest Black Diamond here in Puget Sound, and still use an old Seatec Manta softpack when I travel to warmer climates. Also, Ranger, Black Diamond, etc are good BC's, but may be way overkill for your type of diving. Talk with reputable local shop about your typical dive profile before deciding which to purchase. Well, I'v been using a Dive Rite Trans-Pac II for a good number of years. Its a great BC. You'll never have to buy another BC. But, they are rather expensive How many years has this been...? since the transpac 2 has only been made for 1.5 years now...maybe you meant the transpac 1 before scubapro bought the manufacturing company that owned the patent on the transpac 1 and forced dive rite to go with another builder and produce the transpac2... Not knoking the transpac, or Dive Rite...just think it something that Zeagle makes all BC's in house, from conception to final product. I believe the transpac 2 is being made by a company that makes just about everying under the sun, and dive bcd's on the side...
