Bali Silver Jewelry price information?
Q.As I sit here looking at the mess my body is making of the sterling silver earrings I normally wear I'm wondering if there is good quality jewelry (SSS or Ti maybe?) that has the *look* of Bali Silver. I think I could come up with such jewelry myself if I fiddled with it but SSS and Ti aren't metals I work with normally so there'd be a learning curve and some R&D costs. All in all it would be a hell of a lot easier and probably cheaper just to find and buy such jewelry. Of course moving to CBRs or CBBs from my gunned lobe pierces will involve some stretching. I've never been a heavy earring person, particularly in the upper lobes so the holes are quite petite, I think fashion earrings are something like 22 or 24ga after all. Anyway, anyone seen good jewelry that looks like Bali silver? If not do you know any place willing to entertain a concept drawing or two?
A.I believe a few months ago someone on RAB asked about how she could wear some of her antique, allergy-producing jewelry. Someone suggested that if the earrings open with a wire hinge, having the whole hinge replaced with an appropriate metal. because of the metal differences i can imagine anything requiring soldering to be a pain. Design machine will make anything, but they're not cheap. a word of advice: they get REALLY upset if you try to haggle.
