Furry Jewelry
Q.How many folks out there have furry-based jewelry of some sort?
A.Well, the closetst that I have on me at all times is myshamrock necklace. While at first this may not seem furry oreneted to the untrained eye, it is infact a secret trademark of mine. the secret (was) is that is yo flip it from the green onyx side over to the purely silver side, yo would notice the strange exact resemblance to a paw.....it's hard to imagin, until you see it. The irony of this treasure is that it was given to me by my step mother, whom as some of you may be aware, has not been on the top of my list of cool people. It was acquired by her about 20 years ago during a trip to the Phillippeans as a young child. (She later served there in the military.) It is made of silver (slightly tarnished due to age) as is the small chain that it is attached to. I had once mounted a small gold colored lion sillouette to the back of it, but it dissapeared within days. (I wasn't counting on this, as I at one time worked on jewlelry on a regular basis, and most all of my mountings lasted a long time.) I figured that it was ment to be just as it was, and left it afterward. To this day, I have not removed it from the day I first put it on. The only other jewlery I wear is an earring, but the only quality it has is that it is pure australian crystal, and it is cut in such a fason that if you shine a pinpoint light at the center of it, it throws stars around the room....I often find myself a target for lazer pointers. Affectionatly deamed the "disco ball", it has also become a trademark....hardly furry, but once I see the stars, I (for some reason) think of my furry friends....one day I'll figure it out.
