Affordable Fashion Jewelry

Q.So far I've heard mention of leather, sweaters, scarves and haircuts. What else is worth getting? Are there any inexpensive, non-designer boutique chains to be found? M~Elizabeth mentioned Pupa cosmetics, the sets which I've seen before in Spain and on QVC. Are there any other unusual lines to be found, either exclusive to Italy and at a lower price?

A.I bought items from a line called Bizarre at a department store (Upim) in Rome. Also go to the herbalistas, drug stores for face creams, bath items etc. Try to find a Born to Shop Italy book which will list streets and areas for the less expensive shops. I could not go to Italy without buying jewelry, an unusual necklace, bracelet or earrings either glass, gold or costume. In Florence the store Freon which is on the street toward the Pitti Palace has unusual affordable costume jewelry. In Rome and Venice you will find inexpensive earrings, pendants etc. made of beautiful Murano glass. In Rome the Via del Corso has not only designer shops but lots of teen shops and stores like Benetton and Fiorucci. There's lots to see and do in Italy.
